The Struggle with Sharing: Asking You to Do What I’m Still Learning to Do

Updated: Aug 5, 2025

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about sharing—asking you, my readers, to open up and share your stories, thoughts, and experiences. But I want to be honest with you: sharing my true self, my thoughts, and feelings hasn’t always been easy for me either.
I’ve always considered myself brave in many areas of my life—taking risks, facing challenges—but when it comes to sharing my inner world, my emotions, and being fully authentic, that’s been one of my greatest challenges. For a long time, I hesitated to put myself out there, afraid of being judged or misunderstood. And maybe you’ve felt the same way too.

Turning Struggles into Strength

But here’s the thing—I didn’t stay in that place of fear. Through healing, reflection, and growth, I’ve learned how to open up, to be more honest with myself and others. It hasn’t been an easy journey, but it’s been transformative. Every time I’ve taken the leap to share, I’ve learned more about myself and the power that vulnerability holds.
That’s why I ask you to share—not because I’ve always been fearless about it, but because I’ve walked that path, and I know the strength it takes. More importantly, I know the growth that comes from it.

Why I’m Still Asking You to Share

I invite you to share your story because I’ve been there, and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be. Every time you open up, you release the hold that fear and judgment have over you. Sharing can be a way to shed the weight of the past, to move forward lighter and stronger. And when you do it in a safe space, it can lead to incredible healing—not just for you, but for those who hear your story too.
But I also understand that sharing is personal, and it’s not about laying everything bare. Sometimes, you may not even know what needs to be shared to heal. That’s where my work comes in—helping you find those limiting beliefs, traumas, or wounds that might be holding you back.

Sharing for Healing, Not for Everything

I’ve learned that the purpose of sharing isn’t just to talk about everything that’s happened in your life—it’s about sharing what’s important for your healing. You don’t have to expose every part of yourself, but through the process of sharing in a safe space, you can discover what needs attention, what’s been holding you back. It’s about growth, not just vulnerability for its own sake.

Why I Struggle with Opening Up

I also want to be honest about why I sometimes hesitate to open up. Part of it is because I want to make sure that what I offer will truly help. I care deeply about helping others, but I know not everyone will see or appreciate my efforts. And while I do earn a living from my work, it’s never just about the money—it’s about making a real difference in people’s lives.
I don’t want to offer support if it’s not going to be useful or aligned with your needs. That’s why it’s important for me to understand your expectations first. I need to know that what I’m offering is helping you grow, heal, and move forward. Only when I’m sure that my work is meaningful and effective do I feel comfortable accepting payment for it.
So, if I seem hesitant at times, it’s not because I doubt you—it’s because I care deeply about making sure what I’m offering truly helps.

Taking the First Step Together

I’ve learned from others who have been brave enough to share, and I’ve been inspired by their courage. By putting out this post, I’m doing what I’ve been most afraid to do—sharing my own fears and struggles with you. This is me, taking that first step alongside you.
I want you to know that sharing your true self—whether it’s your thoughts, feelings, or experiences—can be a powerful act of healing. I’m not just asking you to share because it’s part of a process; I’m asking you because I’ve seen how transformative it can be, both in my own life and in the lives of others.
So, if you feel ready, I invite you to share your story with me and with this community. Let’s grow stronger together, one step at a time.
